Pastor Rose M. King

Pastor Rose M. King is the Senior Pastor of Christian Outreach Center where she is continuing with the vision set forth for the church by her husband, the founding Pastor, Johnny R. King. God gave them the Vision; “We are a Family Church, Teaching & Training Center, a World Outreach Center & a Soul Winning Church.”

Pastor Rose, a native Texan, was called to the ministry over 25 years ago. She received her Bachelors of Arts & Science degree in Elementary Education from Prairie View A & M University, graduating along with her husband.

Pastor Rose worked in Fort Worth public schools, served as a Curriculum Planner and was involved in various training sessions and workshops. After thirteen and one half years, she resigned to enter into full-time ministry to assist her husband. She continued her education and ministerial development at Word of Faith Leadership & Bible Institute. She is a Certified Christian Counselor and has been a guest speaker at several churches in the Metroplex and abroad.

Pastor King ministers the uncompromising Word of God and has taken the mantle to lead God’s people in the fullness of Him. Her heart is to obey God, and to develop His people to reach their destiny in life, by teaching and training them in the principles of the Word, and to see the lost come to the Kingdom of God.

She was married to Pastor Johnny R. King on October 17, 1965 and worked along side him in the ministry until he went home to be with the Lord in November of 2001.   She is the mother of two children; a son, Assistant Pastor Jamil King & a daughter, Rachel King. Pastor Rose is also the proud grandmother of Pastor Jamil’s sons, Jamil II, Jonathan Ray and Jeremiah.
