A. God is the author of the Bible. Holy men of God were used to actually express His thoughts in writing. Prophets and Priests wrote the O.T. and the Evangelists and Apostles wrote the books of the New Testament. 2 Peter 1:21; Rev. 22:18

A. Gospel means "Good News." The Gospel is that doctrine of the Bible which God tells us the good news of our salvation is Jesus Christ. I John 4:9; John 3:16; Rom 1:16

Q. Why was Christ wounded for our sins?
A. The law of God demanded the shedding of blood in order to forgive man’s sin. Jesus Christ became the sacrifice for the sins of mankind (Hebrews 9:22; 1 Peter 2:2)
Q. What is meant by forgiveness of sins and eternal life?
A. Forgiveness comes when the soul is cleaned by the blood of Jesus Christ, of all mistakes, offenses and transgressions against God. Eternal life is to live forever. It is the gift of God to those who believe on the Lord Jesus Christ. (John 5:24; Matthew 26:28)
Q. How may I have my sins forgiven?
A. Our sins are forgiven when we ask Jesus to come into our hearts. (Romans 10:9-10)
Q. How can I know my sins are forgiven?
A. The Word of God says they are forgiven! (1 John 4:13)
Q. What is iniquity? How does it differ from sin?
A. Iniquity is the evil that is born in us that breeds transgression. Sin is the actual transgression or act that is done. (Ephesians 2:3; Romans 8:12)
